Dec 2015 โ€ข Family. Catherine Hill Bay is 1h40 driving north from Sydney, beautiful place but nothing super special. We were trying to find a restaurant with a sea view and we couldn't find in that area, nice to spend a day with a family organize a picnic and enjoy the mother nature. Written January 5, 2016.

Catherine Hill Bay's jetty was used up until recently to load coal from the local mines. Catherine Hill Bay is a tiny heritage town, where you feel as though you have stepped back in time.
